Ensure garden is safe for pets
Spring invites us back to the garden. If your dogs or cats join you there, make sure the plants, mulch and pesticides you choose are pet-friendly. For example, cocoa mulch (D2003-45), lilies (C2003-12) and some slug baits (D2003-26) pose hazards to animals. For more on poisonous and safe plants, check out the dog index and cat index, and scroll down to Toxicity/safety.
